Facemask Update

The NHS Covid Infection Control Guidelines have been stepped down and you are no longer required to wear a face mask on site unless you personally prefer to do so; you are at high risk; or you currently have respiratory or Covid symptoms, which are defined by the NHS as:

  • continuous cough
  • high temperature, fever or chills
  • loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell
  • shortness of breath
  • unexplained tiredness, lack of energy
  • muscle aches or pains that are not due to exercise
  • not wanting to eat or not feeling hungry
  • headache that is unusual or longer lasting than usual
  • sore throat, stuffy or runny nose
  • diarrhoea, feeling sick or being sick

If you have the above symptoms or have tested positive for Covid, please contact us by telephone in the first instance and we can identify the best way to help you. We are keen to protect staff and vulnerable patients so if we can treat you on the telephone or at a time when other patients are not on site, that benefits us all.

Thank you for your support and understanding in following the NHS Infection Control guidelines throughout Covid.
