What’s happening?

• There has been a meningococcal disease outbreak in Kent.
• The overall risk of Meningitis B (MenB) to people outside the Kent area remains low.
• UKHSA has been working recently to contain the outbreak and has been giving prophylaxis antibiotics to close contacts.
