Patient Group

Queensview has had an active Participation Group for many years,

The group has raised money for equipment both to improve the Patient experience at the practice and for good causes and has been involved in marshalling during Covid and ‘Flu clinics.

Since Covid, all of our lives have changed and the pressure on Primary Care and its staff has been immense, consequently our meetings lately have been rare.

We are anxious to remain a working PPG but are unable to do so without new, committed, members  representing all backgrounds, ethnicity, ages  and gender to reflect our patient population. The way, we all feel, is to continue as a virtual group. Work is in progress to develop a safe environment in which the efforts of the group benefits  patients, staff and PPG members.

The attached information gives a flavour of what a PPG should be able to achieve and, if you feel you would like to be involved, or need to know more, fill in the application form and we will be in touch.

Recent Meetings

On September 20th 2024 your PPG held an information meeting with a talk by Dr Ojo on Hypertension which was well attended.

On March 12th. 2025 Dr Anjali Bansal gave a talk and Q&A session at the surgery at 6pm  on the Menopause. PPG members and the relevant patient population was contacted by SMS message; many replied.
